On the 26 of November room 1&2 have started a recycling in the cloak bay there are four wheel bins red is for general rubbish to put all essentials rubbish.

Green is for food scraps that is making a worm farm

Blue is for milk cartons
We need milk because it is good for your bones and so we can have an energy jump in the morning.

Yellow is for paper
Is for all the paper that is getting recycled.

And we all started it in room 1&2 and we are hoping that the pupils in the other classes have the same idea that we started.

  4. Hey Peter,
My name is Mayan and I go to The Phoenix School in Salem, Massachusetts in the USA. Sorting unwanted products is a great way to help the Earth because lots of items that are used for lunch can be either recycled or reused. Napkins, plastic utensils, fruit peels, seeds, and stems can all be turned into compost. People have even been using old juice pouches to make purses, pants, jackets, and accessories. I used to have a compost bin, but it didn’t hold up and it attracted a lot of attention from small animals in the wild. However, lots of people manage to keep their own compost bins that help the world a little bit.

Why do you think helping the world is important?
What are some other ways you help the world?
